Switch Fu will rock, sway, and mesmerize your soul. No rules. No limits. No boundaries. No single definition. The band is a pantheon of the emotions that define music. Formed in late 2015 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Switch Fu set out to create a performance for music lovers. Blues, funk, soul, and gospel center their sound, whether they play punk, country, Motown, jazz or rock and roll. Switch Fu is a new experience weaving a tapestry made of the passion of four members: Eric, Jay, Bill and John.
Available for electric, semi-acoustic and acoustic engagements of any size; Switch Fu can self produce events in a pub, a festival, a private home, a music hall or a crane factory for up to 2000 guests. Over 2000 Guests, we’ll have someone else set up the speakers, but we can manage that too,.
Eric Slaughter

Eric is the consummate maestro of the vibe. Often called “the best drummer in the room.” Eric is also the best friend we never knew we needed and a voice of truth and self respect. Eric’s vast love of R&B and Funk bring the feel to every bar and every hip shake in the room.

Bill, or “One-take Willy,” back in his Atlantic International days, has recorded for more albums than most people can name. He makes every hard to reach chord and every impossible key change easy. His passion is to take the road less travelled. Bill makes music fun.

Jay has performed, recorded, mixed, mastered everyone. If he didn’t, he taught the people who did. Grammy Nominated. His disciples include Grammy Winners and international performers. But more than that, Jay makes this music ours.

John had a dream to have a band that played world class music; kept their day jobs; treated each other with respect; paid each other equally; wrote, composed, and produced countless original songs. Well, we’re up to about 40 originals and 10 re-imagined covers. And our most common compliment is “you might be the best band that’s every played here.” Now we do it for each other. We do it for the music. We do it for you.
